"I saw 4 shooting stars tonight!!"

we ended our night with a dip in the hot tub. no jets, just realy hot water and the sounds of nature.laying back, talking about our day and watching the star filled sky. right away i saw two shooting stars back to back. Then soon after, another. i made three wishes, and then realized i'd forgot the most important wish of all. i even said out loud to the sky, "ahh man, i forgot to wish for "blank"! Kaitlyn said "Mom!!!" she was as stunned as i was. i said out-loud to the universe, "i need one more star, Peaseeee, i forgot a wish." i waited and waited. no more stars. i figured the universe must be saying, "well arent you greedy, arent three stars enough!!" kaity and i laughed over this. we waited a little longer enjoying the 104 degree water melt away our work in the garden. right before we got out, there it was, star number four. i guess the universe decided i was finally paitient enough. <grins>

ok, i'm going to read a chapter with Kaity on the holocaust. her poster bored is almost done. it's all drawn out. now the best part, adding color to the whole thing. not necesarily color, but marker to make it stand out more. i'm not sure what she'll do. That is all up to her.

104 degree water? Oh, gurl, that's one area you and I are NOT the same! My tummy turns just thinking about water that hot! *LOL*

Wendi, i LOVE the hot, hot water. now Thats only with it getting pretty cool, and even down right cold at night. when it gets a little warmer, That sucker will be getting turned down. i can only stay in about 15 minutes and with NO jets. if i ever turn on the jets i get a tummy ache fast. atleast in hotter water. if i turn it down to a bath size, it's realy just like my jetted indoor tub. i don't like using the jets though. i like listening to the peacefulness of the night instead. talking softly about "whatever!"

Nick, your too funny!!! "shit never happens!!!" lol sorry though that your wishes arent comming true. i wished for years that my daughter would move back home, and although it did take years, it finally did happen. When hubby was laid off after 18 years on his job at the mill, i wished on every single star that he'd get his job back. no one would hire him. sad when theres such a thing as over qauified. being at that job for that many years, and the pay he made, none of the lower start out pay jobs would touch him. i felt soo bad for him. almost a year later, he got a job with the same mill, but in PA isntead of Illinois. That mill is now doing good again, but relocating to here was the best thing that could ever happen to us. it's a smaller mill and he likes that. he has the same possition and all. two hundred people had been laid off. not many got jobs back with National Steel. all starting over. many where are friends.
so, keep wishing for what you want. sometimes it takes a long time. i'd LOVE to see that many a night. i'll get a new telascope one day. maybe when the kids are all gone. that way maybe the lens, or whatever happened to mine, doesn't happen again. <smiles>

Kleo, It was such a beautiful night!!! i LOVE the night sky, sitting in natures soft sounds, talking low to my family, making wishes, talking about our day, our dreamsand the future.
