"I Promise Bracelets" crossses4acause

I'm ALWAYS trying to think of new things to add to help get our cause
out there and to help save lives. I know not everyone can use our
crosses. Thats how i cam up with cross shaped car magnets that
say "Loved 1 lost 2 cancer' and so on. I came up with T-shirts,
bumper stickers and antanea crosses. All of these would be ways of
showing how many lives are lost to all of these preventable issues.
Until this morning i didn't realy have anything super great for
teens and college students. Now i do and i'm EXTEMELY excited about
it.
They will be called "I Promise bracelets" each one will have two
colors in it to represent a cause, with either a cross inside the
bracelet, or a dangly cross hanging from the bracelet. Tying in the
crosses4acause name. If it's a "I promise not to drink and drive"
bracelet it'll be in red and black. If it's a "I promise not to
smoke" it'll be in the smoking colors. If it's a cancer braelet it
will be in either pink and something, or just pink, or it'll be
purple and whatever. The saying will be something like "I promise to
eat healthier to help prevent cancer" Now these sayings won't be on
the braclets. That info will be on the crosses4acause.org website,
but they may say something like "No 2 smoking" or "I will not smoke"
and so on. I just came up with this all today when i saw the
word "Promise". Not sure how that all popped in my head out of 1
word, but thats how it happened and i wanted to scream when it
happened. <soft smile> I've been wracking my brain for months trying
to think of something like this. <shakes head> This is HUGE for me.
So when someone puts on or two, or how many things they want to
commit to say, they won't do. Thats what it is, "I will not..... We
will sell some and donate some. I'd LOVE to get enough, or raise
enough money one day to go into schools donating these to kids. That
would be sooo huge in my heart. I think i may pass out. <grins> To
maybe help kids not start smoking, drinking and driving or taking a
bigger role in their own health to help prevent cancers, obesity and
all of those things. "That would be HUGE.
So, a few years ago while on a cruise i bought my kids these thick
bracelets the guy made right in front of us using some colored string
taht was like cross stitch floss. He put "Cozumel" into the bracelet.
We could put a cross in, or words like "No to smoking", and dangle a
cross charm. Or They have those rubber bracelets at places like
hotopic that are sooo popular. Maybe i can buy them wholesale. Get
red and black for DUI, get whatever other two colors i need for each
bracelet, put them together with a little piece to dangle a cross
from.
Well, theres my newest idea!!! I am sooo excited about it and can't
wait to start making them. We can also along with the "Loved 1 lost 2
cancer" T's, bumperstickers, car magnets, antanea balls and such,
make "I promise T's, bumper stickers and all of the such."

I LOVE the saying on Nicks. I just have to think of what to put on these. I think it will be something simple like "no 2 drugs" "no 2 DUI" "No 2 Smoking" and such
I LOVED when the idea popped in my head. That one thing that i needed badly to hit a wider market of people. Just been making crosses like crazy. Always thinkingi'm close to putting sale ones on E-bay then i come up with a new cross or something.
I LOVE my "Down in the line of duty" crosses. I have one for police and one for the firestation. I'll share pics when i get them put together. They are sooo pretty. i have flames going up them, out of a house. I have the same flames and house for the fire victims cross, "Taken but not forgotten" i have about thirty crosses made up.
