I Picked a Fine Time to Quit
June 26th 2008 12:29
The wife and I decided to quit smoking. Weve tried before, a long time ago. Damn near bit each others heads off. That was one day 20 years ago. We learned a lesson from it and this time were quitting at the same time, just not together. I put my patch on a week ago today and its working all right. Mostly. I have had a couple of cigarettes since. It was that or kill something. It would be easier if the truck was running right or the ding, ding, ding would shut up. My timing sucks...
Anyway, by the next time I get home, the wife and I should both be non-smokers. She put her patch on yesterday (better late than never). Wish us luck!
