I need help from IE7 users

October 23rd 2007 03:29
If you use Internet Explorer 7 (the latest verion of IE with the tabs across the top) I need your help.

Go to THIS PAGE and let me know via a comment below if you can see the AdSense ads within the text of the post, or if you see blank spaces where they should be.

If you can see the ads -- change the security setting (Tools, Security tab) to Medium-High (if it's not already) and reload the page. Let me know if you can still see the ads.

Thanks for your help!

Jon.

I tried the page, the ads showed for a split second then dissapeared.

My security settings are medium-high, when I set it to medium they show up again.

wait, no, something strange is happening.

When I change the settings between medium and medium-high the ads toggle on and off.

If I refresh the page while its set to 'medium' the ads show then dissapear really quickly even though just before they were clearly visible (after changing from medium high to medium). It's kind of strange.

When I change the settings from medium-high to medium the ads show up with no need to refresh, after I refresh the page the ads show up then dissapear instantly. Add to that if I switch to medium high (after the refresh) the ads suddenly show again, but if I refresh they dissapear.

I'm sure I use default settings, everything seemed perfectly in order to me and I hung around for a while to make sure.

A OK for me, all ads alive and well.

Thanks guys -- I think I fixed the problem now. That was the weirdest IE bug I've ever seen.
