Myrtle beach sunrise pics, from yesterdays post.! <smiles>

it was a beautiful morning. i sooo enjoyed how all you could hear where the waves crashing in and out, and the birds just waking up. we almost had the beach to ourselves. just me, kaitlyn, the waves, the cold sand all to ourselves. the nearest people where about a half mile down the beach. it was a wonderful way to wake up.

Gorgeous pics!

I just got back from a short holiday in Ft Lauderdale. It was so spectacular...and hot. My poor canadian skin got burned red as a lobster but can't wait to go back anyway!

Tracy, FT.Lauderdale, i have a brother in law who lives there and owns a nautical paper. Thats where Kaitlyn may go to art school. he says he can get her a scholorship he thinks. we went there 2006. it's where my daughter Kiatlyn busted her head clear open, doing a back flip at the fairfiled timeshare. The time share was just down the street in the town attatched. can't remimber the name. it was by far one of my favoirte places. uncle was trying to give Kaitlyn a horse from there. <smiles> i would have taken it but i didn't think it would like our PA winters. <grins>
sorry about the burn. Yeah, the sun is sooo close in Florida. we head to Florida in September. almost went to FT.Lauderdale, but picked Daytona because we already have REALY far drives while on that trip. need as short as we can get.

Apart from female nature ... the sea or ocean is my favourite part of nature ... and it's hard to beat at either dusk or dawn ...

Your pics brought back memories of finishing drag-shift as a cop (11pm - 7am) when we would drive along the shoreline at a coastal city called Port Lincoln [Because we could. We could drive wherever we liked. It's not like we were going to get arrested or arrest ourselves for things we'd arrest other people for*

I miss those crazy days ... taking girls in pink nighties for drives in cop cars at 2am with the lights and sirens blaring doing 100mph [because we could ...

Ha, Ha, Thats the beauty of being a cop isn't it!!! run red lights, go REALY fast on a secluded road and feel that power, just because you can. i always wanted to drive a race car just once. we did the simulaters at nascar once. i beat everybody. the guys where mad and didn't understand how me, a girl beat all of them. it was simple, i just "Floored" it hitting everything. they didn't know you could do that and win. i didn't either but i did it anyway and won. it was sooo fun. lol i still have all our score cards. They havent raced me since. <giggles>
