I don't think we're in the Shire anymore Frodo

Getting to work at times is such a dilemma especially when you live in Sydney and have to catch public Transport to work. Driving to work is a total night-mare here. Petrol costs, accidents, cranky drivers and then you have to pay for parking! Get out!!!
So another day on the train, and yes, they are stuffed! Thanks cityrail
) Ended up being half an hour late to work. Living in the shire isn’t as wonderful as they say! During this train ride, I managed to get myself a seat in the vestibule area. At the next stop, the train was getting a little bit squishy. There was an older lady standing next to me, so I thought, I'll do my good deed for the day and give up my seat.
I was then standing next to these girls who rolled their eyes at me because I took up their personal space? I mean, get over it! We're in a Sardine can already and I just gave up my seat to someone! Her stupid Vinyl bag kept bumping into my chest and I was thinking of telling her where to shove her bag, and then the strap broke. It’s Karma I tell you...
What really made me angry was across the way there were three middle aged men in suits sitting down, taking it easy reading the paper, when there were clearly people they could have given their seat to.
You know how sometimes you just want to scream out so other people can look at someone making a fool of themselves? Well, I wanted to yell out “Get up you lazy bastards and give up your seat!”
What’s wrong with these people? Don't people give up seats to the elderly, pregnant and frail anymore?
