Hurry Up and Wait Some More

I stopped to see the kids today for a few hours. We had a pretty good visit and the kids wanted me to stay for dinner.I couldnt because I had to get to my drop. I left on time and arrived on time and was told my actual delivery time was four hours later than my paperwork said. Great. Just ducky. I coulda stuffed my face with barbecue, but oh hell no, I got to sit and wait and extra two hours before they even let me back into a door. Here I sit, still, another hour later. Backed into the door and wondering if they can even see me. Its a pain in the butt to have a truck this big and feel invisible.
Maybe the endless dinging is getting on my nerves...
