David Bowie, Changes
We in the United States need a mission towards progress, and that would be the Moon-Mars project. It is time to stop worshipping the Emperor known as money. LaRouche has defined the parameters. It's not just to say, look Ma we went there. The Mars mission is not just a sideshow, or add-on to demonstrate the power of creativity. It's not enough to bitch about Obama, while the financial system runs the slave empire. The USA must work with Russia, China and India, because after 40 years of globalization, no national economy functions. Only by having cooperation for new infrastructure and technology, can we have progress again in the USA and elsewhere.
The mission of putting a human being on Mars is how we can develop fission, fusion and all the technologies that humanity needs to continue, and it is necessary for the human spirit. Make it a one-gravity acceleration, not just a ballistic missile.
Changes- spoof , David Bowie

Time to think of the future, save civilization;
Progress can change me;
But I can't stop progress;
Too Late Baby?
It is claimed that the Obama Housing Plan has made a dent in the foreclosure rate. Nevertheless it is about to be swamped by new housing foreclosures related to the wave of unemployment. For once even the New York Times has noticed this. You cannot continue to throw millions of families out of their homes without consequences that affect the very fabric of the nation. Is this nation going to keep together? Note that a prominent Russian commentator at a recent Washington DC event commented that the United States could begin to break up under a prolonged economic disintegration, like what happened to the Soviet Union. Time to join the huge dollar credit deal between Russia and China and now India, and get out of the muck. We need blue collar jobs now, or else. So let's sing a song

Ever see the rain? Will there be food?
In the Northern Hemisphere, the harvest season is now drawing to a close, continuing below-need production of grains and other staple commodities, and loss of agriculture capacity. This year's production of all kinds of grains is below that of 2008, and animal protein supplies are in decline. This food/farm crisis is all part of the general monetary chaos, and worldwide breakdown of the physical economy. The dairy sector, especially, is being decimated. The real question is, what is more important, having food to feed people, or the free trade doctrines of the British Empire and the World Trade Organization? [ Click here to read more ]
Idiot Savant play, and Giant Duck
Idiot Savant is the new play at the Public theater, in NYC, starring Willem Dafoe, Joel Israel, Alenka Kraigher, Elina Lawensohn, Eric Magnus and Daniel Allen Nelson. It's definitely weird, but is it wonderful, or political? Perhaps it's really about Obama, who can look so cool and collected, but can't actually think about what he's really doing to us. This is a sort of comic farce by Richard Foreman,another old geezer
