How to Protect Yourself Against Nigerian Scams!!!

Hello everyone,
As I promised yesterday... Today I will talk about how to protect yourself against 3 types of scams: The 4-1-9 Scam, The Lottery Scam and the E-bay Nigerian Scam
The 4-1-9 Scam and The Lottery Scams - How to protect yourself???
"-Be skeptical of individuals representing themselves as Nigerian or foreign government officials asking for your help in placing large sums of money in overseas bank accounts
-Do not believe the promise of large sums of money for your cooperation
-Guard your account information carefully" (Federal Bureau of Investigation Site)
-Do not respond to such emails
-Notify your Own Nation's National Law Enforcement Agency and your Own Nation's Foreign Office
-For Loss cases only, you may file a complaint with the Nigerian Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) http://www.efccnigeria.org/
-If the contact was via email write their email provider at their "abuse" address (abuse@yahoo.com, abuse@onebox.com etc.) and include the message with its headers; complain about the message; and ask that the account be shut down immediatelly... this could be a very efficient way to slow this guys down... Think about this and think about the one`s you could help by reporting this guys...
The E-bay Nigerian Scams:
I have talked in one of my previous posts about this scam but you have to know that it was only one example... there are thousands of deviations and please use these tips to protect yourself from scammers on E-Bay:
-Never ship an item until you receive a confirmation that you have been paid... don`t trust any confirmation received by email... because scammers have evolved and can send false emails to you looking as real as the one`s your payment service provider sends you... Log into your account and check if the payment has been really made
-Be carefull with checks... please see my post about this scam
-Sell only to people that have bought items at other auctions... Scammers usually set up new accounts with zero activity...
-Don`t trust any stories or business proposal these guys make to you even if it`s sounds to good to refuse... refuse, say NO...
-Also see that more experienced scammers, know that a zero activity account will mean lesser chaNce for them to scam someone... and buy 99 cents items to make serious activity on their account... be very carefull and check for details about the auctions they participated in and about the items they bought...
-If you suspect someone... block that user so he can never make future bids on anything you sell
