How to Choose and Write a Valentine's Day Card
January 8th 2009 15:56
1. Choose a card that reflects the recipient's interests, not your own. If the recipient loves dogs (and you hate them), choose a card with a dog on the cover. This choosing alone is an act of love.
2. Write with a feather pen. There are two reasons you should do this:
1. Feather pens make even horrible handwriting look elegant and
2. it will make you feel romantic.
3. Add something to the sentiment in the card. A few short, well-written sentences are all you need.
4. Write from the heart. After all, the heart is what Valentine's Day is about.
Examples: Mary, you're far more delicious than any box of chocolates. Love, Paul
or
Paul, will you be my Valentine-now and forever? Love, Mary
