Hot day In Christchurch,NZ
January 28th 2007 07:40
Hi all
Well sad to say that's all for now regarding the adventures of Sarah, Hallion, Falte and Saxon but who knows if I get enough feed back or a publishing deal lol, then I will write some more. Anyway been a damm hot day, about 24-26 deg I guess and I felt pretty tired after the ride yesterday, hmmm been looking on the map and we will have to do some huge days for the ride but sure if will be fun!!
So thought I would spend the morning in the garden, as due to the rough, wet weather we have had lately, it was looking a bit sad. Started by transplanting two small bushes, which had been placed in the wrong place, no sun and under the eves of the house. Hmm don't know if they will survive or not but thought worth a try as don't like digging stuff out unless I really have to.
To give some idea of what the garden looked like when I moved in.
Still got some work todo but this is how it is looking so far but guess I will in time take most of the plants out by the house and put stones down.
But it was nice to get the garden looking tidy once again as like to keep everything nice.
What else, oh been watching an interesting dvd series called The Long Way Round and it stars Ewan (jedi) McGregor and Charley Boorman and it's about their trip from UK across Russia and then through the states to New York and wow it really makes you want to do something like that, although guess it helps being famous and having a camera man on a bike with you, plus support trucks a day or so behind all the time, but still awesome anyway!!
Spent a couple of hours editing chapter 3 of the Chronicles of Lamora also, so that was pretty productive and listened to The Best of Sarah Brightman mix, really good, especially Scarbrough Fair as haven't heard that since I was a kid although no idea who sung it then?
Hmmmm work tomorrow, would rather be writing!
Just looking forward to when I get my digital camera as got another great idea for a new blog, which will just be photos. So will update everone when that starts and currently trying to sort out a domain name too, so will update on that also.
Well, both cats are sound asleep so will have to put up with my thought of the day again.
