I see hope all around
Looking at yellow flowers sitting
Bright and brilliant,
As a child plays
Smiling; oblivious to everything.
I hear hope all around
Hearing chatter and similar stories,
Sympathy and smiles,
Relief and confidence,
Always being positive about their combat.
I feel hope all around
In peoples’ hearts and minds,
Beaming through their weary faces,
But complacent with waiting
Eager to finish.
I touch hope all around
Embracing loved ones,
Who are like precious stones
Sent to us as gifts
To cherish forever.
I taste hope all around
Imagining the fruity cocktails
An goal in mind,
To achieve and conquer –
It has never tasted so sweet.
