Holi-Game Over

Coming back from a Holiday means a lot of missing of friends as Uni is looming like a big, evil, shadow. Two days before the start of College, I was sitting at home and wondered if the week-long holiday at the beach with 11 of my friends was a dream.
There was countless games of Tetris DS and Mario Kart fun, I picked Toad with his standard Kart (for the challenge) and ended up battling for last place against Yoshis with supped up Karts. As you expect, Mario Kart is heaps of fun and, at times, unfair. There is something concerning when your coming first in a race and suddenly get hit by a blue shell, followed by two red shells, with each impact finally knocking your Kart off the race course for another five seconds of agonising waiting.
A massive dose of bad luck? Well thats part of Mario Kart! And winning a race with Standard Toad just ended up becoming so much more satisfying.
The much touted Tetris DS tourney was hectic. My friends were rentlentless and a huge dose of training will need to be injected for the year before I can be a challenge for em! Looking forward to the end of the year Wooot!
That's the thing about Tetris;its a game where the controls are only as flawed as the gamer's playing style. I know a decent amount of time during the year will up my skill by Christmas. So bring on the Holidays lol.
Its been Week 3 into College and gaming hasn't been all that progressive, I'm looking forward to get my hands on Resident Evil 5... I know Japanese gamers have it now but Command and Conquer 3 will keep me busy until then.
