Here's my first knitted thing of 2012 - grandson's hat

Happy 2012!
Although to be honest I'm naffed off as this is my last day of nothing until Saturday. Why do holidays have to go by so flippin fast?? I'll be so depressed when my alarm goes off in the morning and I have to get up for work....plus I have a group of 12 new staff starting so I'll be stuck in a room with them all day while trying to remember what I'm teaching them and not fall asleep....shame it's not a day when I can sit at my desk pretending to work as I ease myself gently back into the working week..
Oh well....so here's the hat I've done for Louie - I got to try the hat on him when I'd done the brim as we babysat them both overnight on New Year's Eve so at least I know it fits! As a tip Sirdar Snowflake is a bitch to use as you can't see the stitches but soooo soft it's worth it...also why the top half of the hat is a different yarn
