Have you been so overwhelmed as to cry at a concert?

Did you watch Australian Idol when Dean got kicked out? How pathetic was the "DEAN TEAM". Some group of 14 yr old pre-teens crying because Dean got kicked out. Yes, you're favourite idol has been kicked out, yes, it may be emotional but you're on national TV looking like a dick.
I've never felt so overwhelmed about a celebrity that I felt like crying. I haven't been to many concerts, but the ones that I have seen have been massive. Still no urge to cry. I don't understand how people get so overwhelmed that they cry, scream then pass out? If I spent $120 on a concert ticket and passed out 1/3 of the way through the concert, man would I be shitty.
Im a sympathy crier, and yes I cried in "The Little Mermaid" hey! I was 12. To be honest, I think I've cried during certain commercials too! I blame it on my hormones. I must admit, if its sad then I will cry. But when you're at a concert how is it that you feel like crying? Were you in the mosh pit and someone stepped on your toe? Did someones heel knock you in the head during a crowd surf? Did someone flash their boobs at you? Or did someone try to get a free feel? All understandable reasons for you get get emotional.
You've all seen it,from old Beatles clips where the girls are crying and their mod eye makeup is running, to metallica concerts where the groupies pass out and get carried over the barricades and some dick tries to grap onto a boob.
Someone please explain this overwhelming feeling to cry...

I just popped by as I said I would and firstly, just love the kitten... ooh how cute... if it's there to make me ‘pass out’… it just did! I love kittens.... having said that, secondly... I have never passed out at a concert before and would also be really annoyed with myself if I did from the financial aspect. I can never tell what all the fuss is about and wish everyone would just sit down and behave... enjoy the music and the effort the artists are putting in. I remember in one concert where the girl I went with passed out and I missed half the concert tracking down her unconscious body to make sure she wasn't raped or something stupid.
However, the other night when John Edwards was relieving someone’s pain by ‘crossing over’… I felt the urge to cry... and did...but I don't think Mick Jagger, or Van Halen has the same effect... can't help you sorry, I don't understand either...
