When you look at this picture you might have thought that they are trying to carry some tray of things up to the plane, but "does it necessary to have such a big hole?" some might have asked.
Well, the fact was true. And in fact it wasn't any tray of possible China or something, it was the very first computer with hardisk, launched by IBM in 1956. The model was 305 RAMAC. It weighs over a ton and you can see how the fork lifter had to slowly transfer it onto the plane.
And how much was the hard disk size?
