Happy 4th

When I wake up itll be the 4th of July. My vacation is in two weeks. I havent got to spend the 4th with the wife for many years. Maybe someday.
When the kids were little wed take them swimming and on a picnic and to the fireworks at nite. Those were pretty good times. But now Im alone in the truck with a "ding, ding, ding," if I turn the radio down. Maybe Ill get to see some fireworks as I travel along. It would be pretty cool. But Id rather be home for the day. Oh well, I knew long hauling wasnt going to be fun all the time.
