The Basics: good mind-frame 1

June 29th 2009 00:53
Once you are able to respect yourself and fulfill yourself you will have no trouble respecting others and accepting others actions and decisions. Most individuals in our society these days mostly become unhappy and "bent out of shape" due to the actions of others. So the key is to be above that and fight for your won happiness.

Our delicate emotions in terms of other peoples actions stems from the fact that our culture in very competitive. The way society is structured expands our competitiveness and constant comparisons to others. We can realize this through analyzing simple things such as wanting to have a higher wage, a nicer car, or a better lawn. These are all shallow ideals for us to chase, and most of us will say it has nothing to do with them. However we are subconsciously competitive about the most abstract concepts, such as seeing someone handle a stressful situation better or being more confident. Once you start realizing the comparisons you make with yourself to others you will be able to begin becoming a stronger happier individual.

We all have our ups and downs throughout life. For some the these bumps are to much to handle, and swerve off the road. Here we will share our insights and thoughts that have helped us with our personal issues of existentialism. I am a scholar of philosophy and phycology and I wish to share my knowledge and hear what others have come to realize along their paths.
