The Northern lights is one of the most captivating and mystifying wonders of this world. Some may say that it is an out of this world experience.

I have been looking at doing a tour of the Northern lights for some time now and I have recently discovered an affordable tour to do between November and Feburary each year, located in Whitehorse, Canada.

I have included a link that will take you to their website. This would be such an amazing experience. Not only do you view the Northern lights, there is also the opportunity to go dog sledding and snow-mobiling.

Check out the website. This is a once in a lifetime journey that would never be forgotten as long as you live.

Music Boat Cruises From Sydney

August 21st 2011 11:19
I only found out today that there is such a thing as a Music cruise that leaves from Sydney. I am thinking about booking one for my Mums birthday as she loves watching live entertainment.

These cruises last only for 4 days and they have a musical theme. Elvis, the 60's, 70's etc.

I have included a link that will give you a bit more information about these fantastic cruises.

If anyone has been on one can you leave a comment and let me know what it was like, I would love to hear feedback so I know whether it is worth going on.

How to bargain with Flight Centre

August 14th 2011 23:49
Have you ever started to research you flights on the internet, however did not feel comfortable booking online. Most of the time the flights that you find on the internet are a fair amount cheaper than you have been offered at travel agents.

Well there is a way that you can get those cheap flights, and still have your travel agent book them for you. This means that you have the cheap flights, however your travel agent is still responsible for any changes or hiccups in your itinerary.

Okay, all you have to do is go to Flight Centre with you exact dates and places you want to go. Get them to do the initial quote for you. Be prepared to get a ridiculous quote from them as they will try and get maximum commission from you.

Then tell them that you will go home and think about it. Once you are at home go to www.expedia.com.au and find the cheapest flights you can get for the same dates that you gave your travel agent. Most of the time you will find they are at least $100-300 cheaper each way. Print this itinerary out and the next day go back to Flight Centre and say that you found the flights cheaper on the net. They will offer you the same flights for $1 cheaper. It is not much but they are now responsible for your booking. Note that once you print the online quote out you only have 24 hours to get to flight centre and lock it in, and they will only accept quotes from Australian websites. Personally i have found expedia.com.au to be the cheapest with the most options of airlines.

Happy bargaining.

Ultimate Beatles Fans!!!!!!!!!!!!

BeatlesMania!!
Love love me do...........Are you a mad Beatles fan as much as i am. Well Liverpool is the place to be. I never knew about what Liverpool had to offer until i heard somebody talking about the Cavern, and then i looked it up online. The Cavern is one of the most famous clubs in the world, with signature names such as the Beatles, Elton John, Oasis all starting their multi million dollar careers here.

For beatles fan, Liverpool also has many tributes situated around town such as The Hard days night hotel, with rooms ranging from around 100 pound a night, The Beatles story (a venue dedicated to the history of the Beatles), Tours including the Beatles magical mystery tour, Cavern Club shop, and the Casbah Coffee club one of the Beatles original venues

Overseas Powerpoint adapters

July 11th 2008 00:27
All In 1 International Travel adapter
One thing that is absolutely essential for the modern day traveller is items such as an ipod, digital camera, hairdryer, hair straitener. So this applies to anyone travelling outside of your own country.

Dont forget to take your powerpoint adapter. The best option is to purchase an all in 1 international travel adapter. It is absolutely fantastic, you can usually pick them up for around $20 and they have a usb port included. I have included a link that will show you an ebay seller and it also has a detailed decription of what functions the adapter has. Check it out, it will save you money and time especially if you are travelling to multiple regions

.
Its Illegal to feed the pigeons

One of the most unusual topics i encountered while in London was that it is illegal to feed the pigeons. How strange. You can actually get fined 50 pound and arrested if caught feeding pigeons particularly in Trafalgar Square
