Halloween on the Highway

Im on my way to swap trailers in New Mexico. The fuel line is really long at this truck stop so Ill do my writing while I can. My menu for breakfast (or lunch or whatever) at this truck stop is Chesty Chicken or Subway. They just dont sound good somehow. Maybe Ill get something at the next town, instead.
Boy, the elections are almost here and what a frenzy! I bet Tueday will be a mess. All those voters trying to get to the polls are gonna cause a traffic jam from hell. And it probably wont be just during rush hour. I heard a couple of women talking at a cafe yesterday. Theyre all scared that well have race riots if Obama looses. They both told everyone they knew that they were voting for Obama and neither one really is. Now theyre scared that hell lose and well have a race war. But they both confessed to each other that they cant vote for him. I think it has something to do with his brother and his aunt that live in poverty and he dont care. Then the ladies got up to leave and passed my booth which was right next to theirs. They were both very well dressed black ladies! I told the wife and she laughed. Said it just goes to show that not everyone cares about race when they pick a president.
