Do you enjoy writing haiku? Acorn magazine is currently accepting haiku. Visit this page for submission guidelines and to read sample poems.

Acorn does pay for haiku, but the amount is not specified.

To be more precisely, Haiku is a Japanese poetry, where it consisting of 17 words, and it arranges in three metric phrases of 5,7 and 5 accordingly!

I did, as well! Also enjoyed reading the article that explained the haiku concept.

The only thing I wondered about was how much they pay for the haiku they publish. Couldn't find that info anywhere, though they did mention that they pay on acceptance.

You're probably right. It likely is minimal. It really is a shame that the compensation for even very well-crafted poetry is generally so pitifully poor.
