There was a milestone birthday reached yesterday - 13 - so to celebrate, amid this incredible heatwave, Greta was born. Here she is on the laundry shelf, ready to be wrapped and embark on her new life.
She certainly appears confident, doesn't she. In fact as it turns out she is a bit of night owl - look at the fun I caught her having with the iron late last night.
Greta was inspired by the angels in the book Sew Pretty Christmas Homestyle
Tone Finnanger is an extremely creative individual and this book as well as Sew Pretty Homestyle contain a wealth of inspiration for gifts and decorator items.
And here she is having the finishing touches applied to her toes. This is actually how I felt by the end of the night - constructing her was no simple task, those thin body parts were a bear to deal with....
Well goodbye and goodluck Greta - I wish you a lovely future with your 13 year old namesake.
