great recipe needed

I could go on about nice guys finishing last, really I could.
But im going to take a different look at things.
I need to find a recipe. Not just any old recipe, a very special one.
Well im sick of bad things happening, or just not kind things.
I got described recently as the unluckiest man in sydney. I take this as a compliment.
Its not fun playing to the stereotype of nice guys finishing last. Watching the girl you want go off with your best mate, so on and so forth.
I tried not being a nice guy, I can't play the jerk very well.
So I thought about the saying you make your own luck.
I need the recipe, Anyone?
