Graham Harrell. Remember Him?
May 25th 2010 22:03
Yeah, the Texas Tech quarterback who helped put together one of the most mind-boggling and successful offenses the Red Raiders had ever seen?
His future after college has been shrouded in mystery. A promising QB spot in Cleveland by the time Harrell declared for the draft showed promise, but somehow he ended up in the Canadian Football League playing for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Well, as of this short post on the Roughriders' site, Harrell has been released from Sasky. The fact that the information is so limited gives us reason to wonder why the West Texas star was shown the door, but for now we'll just have to speculate.
But, no problem for Harrell, he was picked up by the Green Bay Packers. After Cheesehead Nation cut quarterback Chris Pizzotti, Graham was welcomed into Wisconsin.
He will be Aaron Rodgers' third-string, with Matt Flynn backinh him up at No. 2. Will we ever see Harrell play a down on Lambeau? Dunno, but one thing is for certain: Welcome to the NFL, Graham Harrell.
