Lesson Date: 7th to 11th September Name of the teacher: Andrew
Grade: one Class: 2, 3 & 4
Words: “six”, “seven”, “eight”, “nine”, “ten”, “raise”, “hand”, “put”, “down”
Sentences: “Raise your hand!”, “Put down your hand!”, “I am putting my hand down”, “I am raising my hand”, “If you want to ask a question”,
Games or Songs:
Activity: Showed the students two calenders of my home town in Australia, which included animals and places and objects. I also asked them “if they knew what this was?” for certain anomals and places.
Game 1: Started with a game which involved using numbers, but it did not take off, as the class was too big, which was get the students to form a circle, and have three or four students in the middle. I then gave each student (who formed a circle) a number. I then called out a number wanting them to find out where it was. As like I said it did not turn out so I changed it to Bingo, using the 10 numbers only with the student writing down four numbers. I then call out numbers and the first student to cross out all four numbers wins.
