Sentences: “What’s this?”, “It’s my…..”, “they are my…”, “show me your ….?”, “point to your ….?”,
Games or Songs:
Song- ‘Head to toes’ page 26 of backpack textbook, using audio from teachers.
Game- Jeapardy: play boys versus girls. One boy against one girl. Ask each student a question, which is actually an answer. I say a response, I want the student to give me the answer/ response for example response: “My name is Andrew”. I want the students to give me the question: “What is your name?”. Do this with sentences so far learnt this semester. Good way to revise what has already been learnt. Played with my students last year.
Activity- Colouring and drawing- I am needing the students to draw a monster with many body parts ie 3 arms , 6 legs, 1 eye but they have to colour it yellow, orange, purple or brown. This will be used for future lessons to use with the elicit sentences “it has…”
