Games or Songs:
Song- “I have a new pencil” again using the audio equipment.

Game 1- to make up two dice, the first dice with colours and the second dice with objects around the room. I will get each student up to roll the dice, I will say to the first student “what is it?” and the “what colour is it?” with them replying “it is a…” and “It’s….” respectively. From there the student who previously rolled the dice will ask the questions to the new dice roller.

Game 2- I have like domino flashcards made up with on one end a number and the other end a colour either in words, numeral, pictures or just the colour. I will ask for a student to place down a card. Then I will ask “what is it?” the student will reply with “it is…” and then I will ask “who has ……?” and ask for that student to place it down joining that card. It is just a game of matching the previous card with a new card.

Game 3- Take a paper bag to class with classroom objects and a few colours in it. Let the students, one by one reach into the bag, and pick something out. Then ask the question “What is this?” with the student replying with “This is a…..”

Game 4- I will draw two big mouths on the board with around 8 teeth each. One for the boys and one for the girls. I will then have a race to see who can bring or point to something the quickest, and say “this is a…..” or “it’s….”. Who ever wins will knock out a tooth from the other team.
