Lesson plan 6
Lesson Date: 14th to 18th September Name of the teacher: Andrew
Grade: one Class: 2, 3 & 4
Words: “colour(s)”, “pink”, “black”, “brown”, “purple”, “grey”, “red”, “green”, “blue”, “yellow”, “orange”,
Sentences: “What colour is it?”, “It is…”, “What is this (used when I drawer a rainbow on the board)?”
Games or Songs:
Song 1: To start the lesson with the nursery rhyme/ song “ring a ring a rosies”.
Song 2: Song and game together- ‘Rainbow song’ and have coloured sheets of paper laid out and get the students to touch each colour as the song is played/ sung(depending if I can get the song downloaded).
Game: Get the students to sit around in a circle on their chairs. One child skips around the outside of the circle as everyone sings, and when a certain word is said that student taps another student on the head lightly and that student needs to chase that tapper on the head lightly.
(Both of these games and/or songs are using the ‘coloured’ words)
