Grade: one Class: 2, 3 & 4
Words: “marker”, “paper”, “pen”, “pencil”, “table”,
Sentences: “a marker”, “a piece of paper”, “a pen”, “a table”, “This is a …(piece of paper/ marker/ pen/ pencil/ table)”, “What is this (marker/ paper/ pen/ pencil/table/ eraser)?”, “It is a …(marker/ piece of paper/ pen/ pencil/ table)”, (then incorporate the following weeks words into it ie backpack/ book/ chair/ crayon/ desk)”, “open your book?”, “close your book?”, “what am I doing?”, “I am closing my book”, “ I am opening my book"
Games or Songs:
Bean bag game: -I will have a bean bag or a small plastic ball that I will throw at a student or throw out willy nilly and who ever has the ball or bean bag, gets to throw it at the blackboard which has the 26 letters of the alphabet, and they must come up with a word starting with that letter.
