Grade one lesson plan- lesson fifteen

Lesson plan 15

Lesson Date: 28th Sep to 2nd Oct Name of the teacher: Andrew
Grade: one Class: 2, 3 & 4
Words: ‘father’, ‘mother’, ‘sister’, ‘brother’, ‘baby’, ‘me’
Sentences: “He/She is …..”, Who is She/He?”, “She/ He is my…..”, “What is a he/ she, point to one?”, “Stand up!”, “Come to the back of the class”, “Make a line”, “one line”, “two lines”, “boy line”, “girl line”, “sit down!”,
Games or Songs:
Song- ‘Good morning to you’ using audio equipment (sound and picture)

Activity- Hand out: writing and spelling activity. The students need to fill in the missing letters, and then write the whole word again next to it, as well there is practice of writing the letters of the alphabet from A to M.

Pictionary- To be played boys versus girls. The class is to be split into two equal teams, and then each classmate given a number. Then explain the rules in words and actions. When the teacher calls out a number and an action ie run/ skip/ walk, the student needs to get to the blackboard doing that action and then draw or write what ever the teacher says. The first to complete properly wins the pint for their team.
