Gordon Ramsay

Love him or not, it is obvious that Ramsay is making an impact. Some regard this as positive others may take him the wrong way. My opinion, I love him. Not the name Gordon Ramsay as celebrity chef, but for who he is, what he is doing and for his passion and drive.
It annoyed me to say the least, that the airing of a particualr episode of Kitchen Nightmares sparked so much controversy, yes the man does like to use the f-word a lot, but really who doesn't? And as he says, if you don't like it switch off, and it's time to air can still be considered early anyway, ofcourse children now days are awake at 8:30pm.
So that's what he first became known for swearing, but I think it needs to be acknowledged he is more than a hard-ass chef. He is that way because of his perfectionist charactersitic and he wants other people to experince this. He shows how simple fresh food is to create an enjoyable decent meal with. Why serve something that looks unappealing and expect soemone to eat it. He has opened my eyes in many ways. I am a proud 'fan' of his, although perhaps it is that I found him admirable.
