Goodbye to Egypt...
May 21st 2011 18:38
Pack up the things,
That have made a home,
Take everything in,
And treasure,
All the laughs, smiles,
And fun to be had,
Love is all that is now,
And all that is old,
My mother, and children,
of Dahab,
Are in my heart,
Forever, today and now.
The experience I dreamed of,
But never thought would be real,
To meet my husband,
I feel its a dream,
One day I will indeed wake from,
Everything seems to be easy,
but yet easy gets boring,
I hope to keep pushing,
And exploring,
Because when I stop,
I know I will be gone
From this world,
To another place,
Because I will not stop
And I will stop at nothing,
Following a path
As long as we keep happy,
And content,
These challenges will make us,
An adventure he says,
And adventure it will be.
I just wish I could see his face,
And take it all in,
Hold his hand,
And guide him,
But its also something to do alone,
I see a smile,
Coming from around the corner,
With a big suitcase and dreadlocks,
I will be home,
And so will he,
Amazing it does seem,
To both be there together.
I love it. And I love it.
Every more each day.
But I can't stop tears coming,
To feel an end of an era.
The era of my awakening.
I don't know if I want to say it.
But it is time for goodbyes...
Goodbye my golden place.
Dahab.
