No more Christmas, not even Santa Claus, at the Chillicothe VA.
When is someone going to cry foul and realize that this country being so politically correct has finally gone too far? One veteran shares his views.
The VA Kills Santa Claus
I didn't write the article, but I could have. I'm a veteran, and I do receive care at my local VA in Chillicothe, Ohio and this really fires me up. The fact that staff cannot even utter the words Merry Christmas to another person on the VA grounds is bad enough, but now they've taken away all reference to Christmas at the facility entirely, even Santa Claus.
Where will it stop?

Halloween and Fall Festival Food and Games

Trick or treat for Halloween is still a big hit with young and old alike, but many are now hosting Halloween or Harvest parties at home or church as an alternative. Do you need help coming up with food and games for all the ghouls and goblins?
Halloween Party Games and Activities is a great place to start for game ideas for the festivities. Some are games we all remember playing as a child, but with a few twists for Halloween or harvest time. With a bit of inspiration, I'm sure you can come up with more of your own.
What to feed the little monsters? It's not hard to come up with foods to look like a pumpkin and Halloween Party Food and Treats gives you a few easy ideas that fit the Halloween Party or Fall Festival theme.

Glenn Beck is a Moron for Restoring Honor

Yep, you heard it here (and no doubt dozens of other places online). Glenn Beck is a moron. Or at least he is if I can believe the scores of forum posts, Twitter tweets and Facebook status updates I've seen in the last few days.
I've yet to figure out what it is about Glenn Beck's actions of late in regards to the Restoring Honor Rally that is so offensive to so many. And the attacks on Dr Arveda King's character, suggesting - no, flat out saying - that she's a disgrace to her race and her uncle, MLK's dream? ... unbelievable[ Click here to read more ]
