Global Warming's Bottom Line

April 1st 2008 20:25
Why is it that Rich resorts where people flock and spend millions declare themselves Poor when it comes to fighting a catastrofic climate change? One they claim will affect them and their livelihood? Perhaps it's because they feel they can get paid and have others do the work. Yes they want money from the industrialized nations along with the nations doing more to cut CO2 emissions. All this to guarantee that a disaster will never happen or cut the chances of it happening.

A comedian once said that if people are starving because they live in the desert, maybe they should move to where the food is rather than continuing to live in the desert. This was in response to a Feed-the-World movement where people were starving in deserts and other places where you couldn't grow food! This warming cause seems to have the same effect and what is worst is that man is being blamed for all of it.

This is yet a way to waste taxpayer money on a useless cause. It also seems like a political extortion to demand money and place responsibility on others. Global warming is happening and we should learn to embrace it and adapt to it. If you can't stand the heat move north!
