It doesn't matter which side of the equator you live on, spring shows up every year. The flowers and trees and crops start blooming. And so do some idiots. The highway goes through small towns all over the country and I get to see plenty of crazy stuff. Yesterday I was going throu some little berg in Calif. and passed a park. The streets along the park were lined with pick-ups (mostly the fancy new club-cabs), SUVs of several kinds, a few expensive models like BMW and Caddys, and a string of a dozen or so bikes. The barbecues were smoking while they grilled their steaks, ect. making a cloud that made my mouth water. There was a big banner at the far end of the park, welcoming everyone to their Climate Change Benefit Picnic! I laughed so hard, I almost wrecked the truck!
