GI Joe's STORM SHADOW

I think that storm shadow was my favorite bad guy, certainly in all of GI Joe, but maybe in all of childhood toys. There's sometyhing mysterious and fun about ninjas, and he was so confident and capable... he was a stud. Storm Shadow was Cobra's Ninja Master. Rumor was that he used to work for the US government but after going undercover for Cobra he brainwashed and became one of them.

I don't know if it's true, but my friends and I always believed that he was Snake Eye's brother. They were equally strong and talented so they had to be on different sides or else the battles would only last a few minutes. Anyhow, I'd love to hear from folks who loved or hated him, or could fill in the gaps in my knowledge.
