Ghost Town is open again

Ghost Town in the sky has reopened recently in Western North Carolina. For years it was a Western Related Theme Park in the area and closed down. But now it is back and I will be going soon myself.
It is one of those things I always intended to go do but never got around to it. My grandfather helped hook the power up to the original Ghost Town. He was a well know fly fisherman at the time and often went fishing with some of the Western Stars who worked at the park.
They offer rides and attractions for all ages including a train ride around the park. You can also see western gunfights between actors in the ghost town. See a bank robbery or watch the Can Can girls in the saloon. I may be forced to check that out just for an update to the site, because I am a professional!
Maggie Valley has so much else to offer as well while you are visiting that part of North Carolina. It isn’t far from Cherokee or the Blue Ridge Parkway. And if you loved the movie or book Cold Mountain, the real Cold Mountain is close to Maggie Valley.
