This exciting lip range from Joey NY Specialty consists of LipNIX to curb the urge to smoke, LipFIT to curb your appetite and cinnaMEN to attract a man all available in lip sticks, glosses, balms and gloss pallets.

I was planning to quit smoking so I took the Joey challenge and used only their LipNIX. To give an idea I smoked approximately 15-20 cigarettes per day, 8 mg and had smoked at this rate for approximately two years. I used no other smoking aid such as patches, gum or lozenges,
cold turkey was the only way for this trail! I was re-applying the lip gloss each time a craving would occur or a situation where a cigarette would normally be consumed such as after a meal.
I am happy to report that it has now been exactly 27 days and I have not had one cigarette, not even a puff! And due to the ingredient blend of Beeswax, Shea Butter, Aloe Oil with Vitamin E, Lanolin, Safflower Oil, Castor Oil and aromas my lips are kept wonderfully moisturised and soft.
Obviously I did go through normal withdrawal symptoms, and my partner can vouch for my irritability the first two weeks. I was an emotional yo-yo some days, so please if you do trail this product be realistic that it does require your will power and effort to quit also. [I have to admit, I love beauty products, like a true addict I always am on the hunt for a new product. I can spend hours and hours walking through aisles at department stores just looking and trying new products. I worked in Pharmacy for a number of years previously where all these wonderful products were readily available for me to trail. Now that I have gone down another career path I am afraid I am having withdrawal symptoms. I have warn so many shoes down just by walking up and down the same aisle in the hope something new and exciting has come out. Even just an ad on TV for a new mascara makes me so excited, like a kid a Christmas time.
The problem though with being such an addict to beauty products is that over the years I have bought so many different items within different price ranges, I have stocked up enough to open a store of hardly used items. Although some items are great, the problem lies with me. I just do not have the discipline to spend every morning cleansing, toning, moisturising, prepping, and putting 20 layers of make-up only to look like that there is not much on anyway. And then more time each night to gentle remove said make-up, exfoliate, cleanse, tone, moisturise and condition etc.
I have believed all the promises to last longer, not rub off, make my skin look beautiful, make me smell so good that men will fall over, the list goes on and on. As I am sure many many of us do! But my wallet and bathroom cupboards cannot handle any more products. So I have decided to curb my addition with advisory therapy.
I shall share my experiences with others so that hopefully we can all handle our addictions together. At least we will know from first hand experience the quality of products from personal experience.
Shortly after arriving I was to be hit with a huge pain of loss, I was so homesick that it almost hurt. I come from an extremely small family, all of whom have relied on me heavily and all who are back home in Queensland. I have never been away like this before, and sure I know we all grow up and leave the nest to discover the big bad world but I had no idea that it could really hurt so much. Or that I could feel so guilty for leaving everyone behind.
Not only that but in one trip down south I had lost my independence somewhere along the Princess Highway. I had to depend on my Fiancé for everything; I had no car to get around, we had merged bank accounts before we left so I had no bank cards yet to access any money, I had no credit on my phone and I was miles away from being familiar with anything or anyone.

When we first arrived at our brand new house at the start of our very exciting new journey I was brimming with such hope and happiness. We had driven down together, taking five days to enjoy the trip down whilst crammed in a hippy van packed with furniture and a cat at my feet. We had a wonderful time and successfully crossed two state borders without killing each other, a great start to the new life together by most peoples standards.
We pulled up in our new driveway at our new house as a newly engaged couple I was so excited. Although I had not spent my life planning the first night in the first house purchased as Man and Wife to be, I am an optimist and Romantic at heart. So my behaviour mirrored that which I had been shown time and time again throughout my life. I was ecstatic, and as the new bride to be was looking forward to also christening our new house in the traditional way of todays society. We had laughed and joked the whole trip down about our first night as most young couples in love do.

The last twelve months has seen me enter a world that I have never imagined, nor wanted to be a part of. It seems so long ago now I was living up on the Gold Coast totally independent where I had a professional career and lead a typical single life. I loved being single, I had no ambitions to find "the one" to marry. I really didn't want anything to change. Although I was looking forward to moving off the Gold Coast for a new experience, but that had taken me years and was just one thing that I had yet to accomplish.
To keep this introduction brief, less than twelve months later here I am a Bride to be, living with my soon to be husband in Victoria in our new house, with our accounts merged, two states from everything and everyone I know. I'm not working and I had to leave my car behind which was my favourite companion and source of independence. My life has reversed within a blink of an eye.
