Now this post is more interesting after you have all your things clear out from your home and you feel that you have enough exercise for the holiday, by sitting back and relax while stimulate your mind with these nifty suggestions below:
1. Play games. Amuse yourself with darts or billiards, or online challenges like Yahoo!’s Text Twist, Family Feud, Bookworm and Cubis. Strategise and outwit others in card and board competitions such as Uno, blackjack, chess, Pictionary, Scattergories, Scrabble and Taboo.
2. Solve puzzles. Complete crosswords, spot-the-difference tests and math problems (or Sudoku)
3. Learn something new. Watch National Geographic or Discovery Channel to understand and know more about food, culture, living things, travel destinations, body parts and functions, human behaviour and historic events. Then test your knowledge on shows like Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. Surf the Net or scan the dictionary to find the meaning of a word or phrase.
4. Write down your thoughts. Keep a journal to record ideas, or create a blog for others to read and comment on. Fill it with photos, stories and other interesting entries periodically.
Now this is what the orblers would like to agree upon. LOL…
5. Reminisce. Bring out old albums and yearbooks and test your memory by matching fates and names to the photos. Ruminate on your carefree childhood and laugh at your antics, outdated outfits and funny hairstyle.
