Fun, Easy Ways to Recharge Your Batteries: 15 refreshing rituals

1. Take a long walk.
2. Drive around with no specific destination in mind. Well, I used to go around with my bike and it’s a lot more fun cycling around and explores places, without using extra fuel and good for exercise as well.
3. Work out the gym. Become a regular in a particular dance, aerobics or kickboxing class. Line dancing and belly dancing can be really fun, although I stick more to hip hop dancing some time ago.
4. Stroll along the halls and grounds of your alma mater.
5. Spend the day at the pool. Swim laps unhurriedly. Do 26 laps; with each lap, meditate on a happy thing associated with a letter of the alphabet. For example, “A is for anniversary; B is for Bali…”
6. Return to the neighbourhood you grew up in. Check out the park you frequented as a youngster and recall playground exploits and (mis)adventures.
7. Watch a theatrical production.
8. Stretch. Unfold your mat for a restful round of yoga or Pilates.
9. Catch a sporting event. Support your company and cheer on colleagues in a corporate badminton tournament for example.
10. Pack some food and have a picnic.
11. Chill out in a high, breezy place with a great view.
12. Get pampered at a salon or a full-service spa. Have your hair coloured and styled, and spoil yourself with facial, manicure, pedicure, massage – the works!
13. Attend a religious service.
14. Hug someone you love.
15. Volunteer your time and services for a charitable cause.
Personal Note:
I know that not all of the suggestions above are suitable for you. But if you can choose at least one of them and enjoy that event, you’ll sure that you’ll feel refreshed in no time!
