Free Valentine's Day Candy Basket Crochet Pattern

Materials:
Small amounts worsted weight yarn in red and white
Size H crochet hook
Size: 3" tall
Rnd 1: With red, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of 1st dc (12 dc).
Rnd 2: Work this round in back loops only. Ch 3, 2 dc in next dc, * dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, rep from * around, join as before (18 dc).
Rnd 3: Working in both loops again, ch 3, dc in each dc around, join as before, fasten off (18 dc).
Rnd 4: Turn work (work from inside of basket towards outside), join white w sl st in 1st dc of Rnd 3, ch 1, sc in same dc, ch 3, * sc in next dc, ch 3, rep from * around, join w sl st in 1st sc, fasten off (18 ch 3 loops).
Handle:
With red, ch 15, fasten off.
Sew handle ends to sides just inside basket as shown.
Weave in ends.
