Free Scrap Yarn Medallion Crochet Pattern

Materials:
Small amounts worsted weight yarn in brown and green
Size H crochet hook
Size: 2" in diameter
Rnd 1: With brown, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in 1st dc, fasten off (12 dc).
Rnd 2: Join green w sl st in 1st dc of Rnd 1, * ch 3, sl st in next dc, rep from * around, join w sl st in 1st st, fasten off (12 ch 3 loops).
How to join 2 motifs together:
Work 1 complete medallion. Work next medallion until you have 10 ch 3 loops made in Rnd 2, ch 1, hold 2 motifs wrong sides together, sc in 2nd ch of any ch 3 loop on prefinished motif, ch 1, sl st in next dc of working motif, ch 1, sc in 2nd ch of next ch 3 loop on prefinished motif, ch 1, join w sl st in 1st st, fasten off.
Weave in ends.
