Free Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Crochet Pattern

Materials:
2 oz. green worsted weight yarn
1 sheet of white felt or white paper
Ice skater I used this free paper doll
Size H crochet hook
Beads
Stitch marker
Fiberfill stuffing
Small figurine for in front of tree
Small square box to place tree on
Gauge: 4 rnds sc=1"
Size: 7 1/2" tall
Notes: Weave in loose ends as work progresses. DO NOT join rnds. Mark last st of each rnd with st marker. Stuff tree as it "grows".
Top:
Rnd 1: Ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 1, 4 sc in ring (4 sc).
Rnd 2: Sc in each sc around (4 sc).
Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around, working 2 sc inc evenly spaced around (6 sc).
Rnd 4: Sc in each sc around (6 sc).
Rnds 5-34: Rep Rnds 3 and 4, ending with 36 sc (you'll be working one row with 2 inc and the following row you'll be working even), finish off after Rnd 34 (36 sc).
Bottom:
Rnd 1: Ch 4, join w sl st in 1st sc to form ring, ch 1, 4 sc in ring (4 sc).
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (8 sc).
Rnd 3: 2 sc in each sc around (16 sc).
Rnd 4: * Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * around, sc in last sc (21 sc).
Rnd 5: Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * around (28 sc).
Rnd 6: Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from * around, sc in last sc (37 sc).
Rnd 7: Rep Rnd 6 (49 sc), fasten off.
Whipstitch bottom of tree to top of tree. Glue beads on tree. Construct rink scene. Enjoy!
