Free Pot of Gold Crochet Pattern

Materials:
Small amounts worsted weight yarn in black and gold
Size H crochet hook
Gauge: 2 rnds dc=1"
Size: 3" tall
Rnd 1: With black, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of 1st dc (12 dc).
Rnd 2: Work this round in back loops only. Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (24 dc).
Rnd 3: Working in both loops again, ch 3, dc in each dc around, join as before (24 dc).
Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, join as before (24 dc).
Rnd 5: Dc dec over 1st 2 dc, * dc dec over next 2 dc, rep from * around, join w sl st in 1st dc dec (12 dc dec).
Rnd 6: Ch 2, hdc in same dc dec, 2 hdc in next dc dec and in each dc dec around, join w sl st in top of ch 2, fasten off (24 hdc).
Handle:
With black, ch 20, fasten off. Sew handle to sides of pot as shown.
Weave in ends.
Fill pot with chocolate coins or crochet the gold coin below.
Gold:
With gold yarn, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, join w sl st in 1st sc, fasten off (6 sc).
Weave in ends.
