Free Octopus Crochet Pattern

Materials:
Small amount worsted weight yarn
Size H crochet hook
2 small google eyes
Size: 2 1/2" tall
Rnd 1: Ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in 1st dc (12 dc).
1st 2 legs: (Ch 6, sl st in 2nd ch from hk and in each ch down, sl st in same dc) twice.
Next 2 legs: Sl st in next dc, *ch 6, sl st in 2nd ch from hk and in each ch down, sl st in same dc* rep from * to * once more, fasten off.
Next 2 legs: Turn work over to wrong side, join yarn w sl st in 2nd dc to right of last leg worked, (ch 6, sl st in 2nd ch from hk and in ch each down, sl st in same dc) twice.
Last 2 legs: Sl st in next dc, *ch 6, sl st in 2nd ch from hk and in each ch down, sl st in same dc*, rep from * to * once more, fasten off. (You should now have 8 legs. You will have worked 2 legs into 4 dc to make 8 legs).
Weave in ends.
Glue eyes to octopus as shown.
Let dry.
Enjoy!
