Free Little Chicken Crochet Pattern

Materials: Small amounts worsted weight yarn in red and white
Size H crochet hook
2 small google eyes
Scrap of yellow felt

Size: 2" tall

Rnd 1: With white, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in 1st dc (12 dc).

1st wing: (Ch 7, sl st in same st) 3 times, fasten off (3 ch-7 loops).

2nd wing: Join white w sl st in 6th dc to left of 1st wing, (ch 7, sl st in same st) 3 times, fasten off (3 ch-7 loops).

Top of head: Join red w sl st in 3rd dc to left of 1st wing, (ch 3, sl st in same sp) 2 times, fasten off (2 ch-3 loops).

Weave in ends.

Glue eyes to chicken as shown.

Cut a small triangle from yellow felt for beak and glue to chicken as shown.

Let dry.

Enjoy!

Warning: Not for children under 3!
