Free Last-Minute Christmas Coaster Crochet Pattern

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn in small amounts of white, red and green
Size H crochet hook
Size J crochet hook

Size: 4 1/4" in diameter

Notes: Weave in loose ends as work progresses.

Rnd 1: With size H crochet hook and white yarn, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of 1st dc (12 dc).

Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (24 dc).

Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before, fasten off white (48 dc).

Rnd 4: Join red w sl st in 1st dc of Rnd 3, ch 1, sc in same dc, sc in next dc and in each dc around, join w sl st in top of 1st sc, fasten off red (48 sc).

Using red yarn and Size J hook, surface sl st completely around coaster between Rnds 1 and 2, fasten off red.

Using green yarn and size J hook, surface sl st completely around coaster between Rnds 2 and 3, fasten off green.
