Free Large Shells Scarf Stitch Crochet Pattern

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn
Size H crochet hook
Size: 6 1/2" wide
To make a scarf using this stitch:
Row 1: Ch 26, sc in 2nd ch from hook, * sk 3 ch, 7 trc in next ch, sk 3 ch, sc in next ch, rep from * across (3 shells plus 4 sc).
Row 2: Ch 6, turn, sk 3 trc, sc in next trc, *ch 3, trc in next sc, ch 3, sk 3 trc, sc in next trc, rep from * across (3 shells).
Row 3: Ch 3, turn, * 7 trc in next sc, sc in next trc, rep from * across (3 shells).
Rep Rows 2 and 3 until scarf reaches desired length, fasten off.
Fringe scarf if desired.
