Free Giant Candy Cane Stocking Crochet Pattern

This stocking is made to hang over a doorknob.
Materials:
Worsted weight yarn-small amounts red and white
Size H crochet hook
Size: 9 1/2" long. Fits a 9 1/2" giant candy cane.
Gauge: 2 rnds of dc=1"
Note: Weave in loose ends as work progresses.
Rnd 1: With red, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of 1st dc (12 dc).
Rnds 2-13: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, join as before, fasten off after Rnd 13 (12 dc).
Rnd 14: Turn work (work from inside out), join white w sl st in 1st st of Rnd 13, ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (12 dc).
Rnds 15-17: Ch 3, dc in each dc around, join as before, fasten off after Rnd 17 (12 dc).
Fold Rnds 16 and 17 over Rnds 14 and 15 to form cuff.
Hanging loop:
With white, ch 25, attach ch at both sides of stocking.
Insert candy cane. Hang and enjoy!
