Free Egg in the Grass Crochet Pattern

Materials:
Small amount worsted weight yarn in pink and green
Size H crochet hook
2 medium google eyes
Fiberfill for stuffing
Size: 2" tall
Note: Weave in loose ends as work progresses.
Rnd 1 With pink, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, join w sl st in 1st sc (6 sc).
Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, 2 sc in next sc, * sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, * rep from * to * around, join as before (9 sc).
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, 2 sc in next sc, * sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, * rep from * to * around, sc in last sc, join as before (13 sc).
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, 2 sc in next sc, *sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc * , rep from * to * around, sc in last sc, join as before (19 sc).
Rnds 5-8: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join as before, fasten off after Rnd 8 (19 sc).
Rnd 9: Join green w sl st in 1st sc of Rnd 8, ch 1, sc in each sc around, join as before (19 sc).
Rnd 10: Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, * long sc over next sc in Rnd 8, sc in next sc, long sc over next sc in Rnd 7, sc in next sc, * rep from * to * around, join as before, fasten off (19 sc).
Bottom of egg:
Rnd 1: With green, ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, join w sl st in 1st sc (6 sc).
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, join as before (12 sc).
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, 2 sc in next sc, * sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, * rep from * to * around, join as before (18 sc).
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in 1st 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 6 sc, 2 sc in next sc, sc in last 4 sc, join as before, fasten off (20 sc).
Stuff top of egg.
Using a length of green yarn, sew bottom of egg to top of egg.
Glue eyes to egg as shown.
Let dry.
